Course Layout Map

Committee Boat Captains: Choose the wind direction, click on course with left mouse, keep left mouse down and drag to area on lake map, release left mouse. You may do this as often as you need.
This will give you an idea as to where to set up your course with the given conditions ... Area A or B or C or D.
Then go to the Forum and post the course Area on the Fun Race Go/NoGo Forum and/or contact Alan at

Committe Boat Captains NOTE: Pick a course so it stays outside the 10 foot depth lines. This is needed to allow keel boats (some draw 5 feet or more) to race and avoid weed growth which only disappears when the water is at least 8 feet. Keep the course at least a third of a mile from the windward shore to avoid wind shadow.
